Inner Awareness & Self-Compassion Training
This training will help clinicians develop inner awareness and self-compassion practices to enhance their own meditation practice and clinical work.

Beginners and those with previous meditation experience are welcome to attend. By learning how to to anchor ourselves in our breath and attending to sensations in the body, we expand our self-regulation skills and capacity to be with difficult experiences. Join Dr. Jenifer Talley, Assistant Professor at The New School for Social Research and Assistant Director of The Center for Optimal Living and Jill Satterfield, founder of Vajra Yoga + Meditation and The School for Compassionate Action.

The New School for Social Research’s Department of Psychology SW CPE is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #0199. This training provides 6 hours of continuing education credits.

INTEGRATIVE HARM REDUCTION PSYCHOTHERAPY Training
This 3-day intensive training introduces a new psychobiosocial process model for understanding the broad spectrum of addictive and risky behavior and an integrative approach to treatment. You will learn Dr. Tatarsky’s 7 therapeutic tasks of Integrative Harm Reduction Psychotherapy. The training includes lecture and discussion, case illustration, skill demonstration and skill building exercises to enhance your work in your practice or organization.
