Last November, The Center For Optimal Living & the New School For Social Research presented a three-day training on the therapeutic principles and practice of Integrative Harm Reduction Psychotherapy for mental health and substance use treatment providers.
In the video below, participants share their experience of the training. Led by Dr. Andrew Tatarsky and members of his clinical team, Drs. Jenifer Talley and Michael Benibgui, the training drew upon material from his case studies, published papers and book, Harm Reduction Psychotherapy: A New Treatment for Drug & Alcohol Problems, an essential guide to the practice of this growing therapeutic approach. This therapy is particularly useful for helping people with the spectrum of risky and addictive behavior.
